Derivatives

Derivatives began as a collection of demos of cover versions of songs, and turned into a series of "proper" recordings.

Derivatives v1 consists of covers of "The Brazilian" (Genesis) and "Follow Your Bliss" (B-52s).

Derivatives is the name of a series of cover versions of instrumentals dear to the heart of The Laconic.

"The Brazilian" is from the album Invisible Touch (1986) by Genesis. "Follow Your Bliss" is from the album Cosmic Thing (1989) by The B-52s. Both are instrumentals, the last songs on their albums, and I always thought they deserved to be
